The first step to quit smoking.

What i have learned all these years about me and my addiction to smoke, is that i had to take every time the first step.
I don't believe that '' if i say enough, it's enough''.
Not everybody can quit smoking just be telling to their self " Don't smoke again".
But really, there is a big truth.You need to take the first step.

First step :      DECISION 






You have to decide that you WANT to quit smoking .
Do not spend your money in different methods or techniques before that. It's a fact and you need to understand that .

I know from my self that when i tried to quit smoking, i wasn't sure if that was a good thing to me.
Why should i quit something that i love?
Coffee + Cigarettes
Smoking after eating
Alcohol is perfect for a smoker
add you list....

So you have to decide it...
To make your effort for the decision easier, i will write on my next post some facts about smoking.
For example we will talk about the benefits for your health and of course we will see the bad side of the habit.


P.s  Why do coffee and smoking makes a perfect pair?
      It's weird but i will tell you about that on my next post.

Why did i create a quit smoking blog ?


Well, first of all you should know that i have been a smoker since my 15 and now i am 33 years old male.
Wow!!! 18 years i have this bad habit and i now is the time to set my self free from smoke.
Oh no, i lied about the 18 years.
Actually i had quit smoking at the age back in 2005 until 2007 when my son was born.
Isn't this ironic ? Someone should give up smoking when he start up his family with a newborn.
Unfortunately, my wife suffered from postpartum depression since the first week after she brought a new baby to our world.( postpartum depression will be my next blog :)
This is the main problem of an ex smoker .We need a lot of strength to avoid put that thing in our lungs again.
Quiting is easy someone could say.Staying forever away...need guts for that.
Only a smoker or ex-smoker may understand what we feel .
And probably, people who understand one each other could help.
So this is the main idea of this site .Give hope to the smokers and keep ex-smokers healthy.
